Crash - The Movie

I have to a fair few countries and met people from different backgrounds. I like hearing about the different customs and beliefs, language and cultural heritage. My brother's High School is one of the most multicultural schools with students from over 90 different countries in a school of nearly 2,000. Unfortunately, not everyone else have to accept that.

"Crash" is a film that addresses not only racism, but cliches and it's all a matter of perspective. People areborn with good hearts, but they reduce to grow up and learn prejudices. The film is set in Los Angeles, a place where there is a mixture of all countries. The story begins when several people are involved in a multi-car accident. We are back in the days before the crash, since the lives of the protagonists, and the problems each character encounters on that day. The film shows us that life is not always black or white, good or bad, it's all a matter ofPerception.

The theme of the movie was the fact that grown in recent times, the people so that we are constantly protecting us from strangers to putting up signs, taking special care not to touch any other in the event of litigation. The first few lines state clearly: "It is the sense of touch. In any real city, you walk, you know you touch people, people you encounter. In LA, you affect anyone. We're always behind this metal and glass. I think , we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something. "

Rick Cabot (Brendan Fraser), a white attorney and his wife Jean Cabot (Sandra Bullock) are so helpless, "good" guys, if they at gunpoint by two black young men, not racism (determined) Carjacked shown. Rick Cabot shows later, his "bad" side when he tries to win votes for his career by pretending to be racially sensitive to store. Jean shows her "bad" Even if a young Spanish man comes to change the locks and todescribes him as a "gang banger with a shaven head, his pants around his ass, [and] the prison tattoos" Who wants to sell their key as soon as he steps out the door.

The two young boys who steal Rick and Jean car, Peter and Anthony also have a good and a bad side. During the film, Anthony goes on to draw attention to racist tendencies in people. Although he tends to be a good deal in relation to the boys in the film exaggerate, he meets the mark withRelation to the perception in the wide world. Bad: The boys hijacked a car. Good: Anthony may have legal and perceptions about racism against black people, because when Peter tries to show to draw a figure of a saint, a young police officer, the officer mistakes the gesture for Peter pulled out a pistol and shoots him.

Well, that's the young officer, Tom Hansen (Ryan Phillippe), not all bad. He is a white officer who continually harassed bigoted black people for no partnershipapparent reason other than the fact that they're black. Officer Hanson is very unhappy with the behavior of his partner and it protects people who are unfortunate enough to not get.

Surprisingly, Officer Hanson is a partner, John Ryan (Matt Dillon) is not all bad. His father suffered great financial and business losses due to racist policies and is now very sick. He has been miss-diagnosed and not treated by a black insurance representative who takes offenseOfficer Ryan's behavior. I think he can swallow his pride, because later in the film, a black woman he molested that is in a car that is burning, and he risked his life to save trapped.

There are many other characters in the film, each with their own complicated life, with its good and bad sides, with their opinions of right and wrong. The film keeps you guess right until the last minute what's going to be around the next bend? Above all, it makesThey feel very ashamed of how we treat each other with suspicion and revenge, with preconceived stereotypes. If a black man reaches into his pocket, he is always a weapon? When a young man has tattoos, does that mean he is a criminal and he has been in prison? When a man looks middle-eastern states, he is a terrorist? Even if you are not a minority, you are being discriminated against? We can arrange various colors, shapes, sizes, with different backgrounds and different opinions, but inIn the end we are all human beings.
