There are two types of movie trailers. I do not mean, teaser and theatrical trailers, I mean those who are a little bit, and show that too much to show. Those who are teasing is more exciting than if I would like to offer my thanks to all props for a movie, I do not really see the whole movie condensed into two minutes. Far too much is packed into blockbuster trailer now, each vying for supremacy over each other with their elaborate special effects, a linerand heroic poses, but where is the secret? In the past decades were much less clear-cut trailer that offers insights into the pure eye candy, to persuade people to come and watch the movies on their release. This was highly effective, with the audience the feeling a lot more of the films they saw, rather than with much of the film has already been seen in the preview content.
One that really stuck my head to give away all the Theatrical Trailer for ForeignersVs. Predator: Requiem. Well, the film was still terrible, but anyone could have saved themselves a few hours and some cash back from only just the trailer! The trailers contain virtually every shot bar effects of the peak so that the film feel like little more than a padded trailer.
This treatment of followers as miniature versions of the films they advertise contribute to the decline of attention span Cinemagoing in public. People spend a lot of theseMovies are waiting to connect the dots and pick out where each shot comes out of the trailer in the movie. What happened to suspense? If you spend on the impact of millions, not the people you want to come and see the movie instead of just watching the trailer a few times on Youtube? Fair enough, show some of the goods into the trailer, but they do not show everything. Format as long as they are trying teaser rather than to cram everything in so short. Check out some classic trailers for inspiration.Make your potential audience are looking to see your movie, what's going on-do not blow it all at once.
Another example is the trailer for the release of Peter Jackson's King Kong. There was a movie where you wanted to see, and Kong himself, and that the film was the performance significantly by the trailer showing off exactly what looked king, stood up and damaged. Tease the audience. I can not stress this enough, dass Tease them, make them want more. Give them a bite or two insteaddripping a massive plate with grease, and they are more likely to take the full meal, when she is ready. Okay, enough analogies. Go and cut a trailer that will not cheapen your movies.
