Film Festival. Everybody knows them. Every movie lover has with them and at some point in one of the biggest dreams. Film Festival Movie fans are our first contact with the films in this year takes the next in our theater. The most important film festival are films like E3 and TGS, and these are the games. They are the events that hardcore fans are waiting impatiently for a year on the first look at what is sure to receive next yearmore great movies. It also gives film festivals, independent filmmakers the opportunity to reach a wider audience. to extend the light of the film and appreciate the film maker to work. That said, here is what I feel the top three film festivals in the United States.
1. Sundance Film Festival
Sundance. This is the first festival for independent films. This is the guy that all the filmmakers whose work trying to enter. Sundance, foundedin 1978, is the largest showcase for independent films there. As such, many of the great filmmakers for the first big chance at the Sundance Film Festival. Some of these include directors Quentin Tarantino, Darren Aronofsky, Kevin Smith, Paul Anderson and many others. Similarly preview of the independent film festival brings each year to a wider audience and has managed some of the greatest films from independent cinema outside attention. Films like Clerks, Saw, Reservoir Dogs,Precious, Luna, Little Miss Sunshine and the list goes on and on. The festival has assumed enormous proportions, always something of a Hollywood spectacle. Despite this, the festival is still, in part, to meet and help the youngest directors of each year. But if I had a film festival I ever attended, Sundance would be.
2. Tribeca Film Festival
Tribeca was founded by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff 2002nd This festival was foundedin honor of 9 / 11 attacks. Although one of the most recent festival has managed to rise rapidly in prestige Tribeca, one of the most important film festivals in the world. Because of the great success of the Tribeca festival has become an important showcase for independent filmmakers and great opportunity to make a name. The offers vary from Tribeca to independent films, documentaries, short films, including the family movie. In its short period of time has Tribecaalready the place where films like Shrek Forever After, Freakonomics and Get Low. Having made such an impact on the industry in such a short time, Tribeca is one of the big shots and more careful in future.
3. Telluride Film Festival
Telluride began in 1974. There is a sort of rule about the festival that the film must be in North America to premiere in for submission to the festival, he says. As such, they show a lot of new moviesTelluride. This film always brings in a lot of its premiere in Telluride. The festival premieres films like Roger and Me, El Mariachi, Brokeback Mountain, The Crying Game and many others. This year the audience was also a first shock of 127 hours with James Franco and Danny Boyle. It must provide the reasons for the makers of a name and a breaking point for these directors were. Telluride is also known and appreciated for its purity. ThenThis is one of the most prestigious festival for one of those so dedicated to the art of cinema.
Honorable Mentions:
* New York Film Festival - The festival is known to be so selective. Screening only a few films, like most festivals, is chosen as the same honor. It says a lot, if only part of the festival is considered an honor in itself.
* Seattle International Film Festival - This is one of the biggest festivals in the United States and one ofthe top. The SIFF is more than a festival for the public, rather than a festival for filmmakers and the economy. They tend to focus on major film critics for the public and fans of good cinema going experience rather than the primary goal of making it a showcase for filmmakers.
