Ok 2012, What the Heck is Going on?

Surely anyone would want to believe and hope that all the 2012 hype we keep hearing is exactly that, hype! Seen the film 2012? That really is something that no-one in their right mind would want to happen, but if we are not a little more careful about exhausting all the earths' resources we are certainly heading for a possible doomsday situation.

It all seems to be escalating out of control and very little in the way of subsiding. You only have to look at the news to see. How frequent are these earthquakes now, some in places that have not had so much as a tremor in decades.

Then there are the wars and fighting, which also seem to be increasing on a daily basis, why should there really be so much hatred in the world, surely we each have the right to live the same lives as each other. Sadly cultures seem to play a major part in reducing the value of human life.

With these and so many other influencing events that are either swept under the carpet or never make the news, how can we seriously expect the Earth to maintain life with the current rate of human destruction?

So perhaps the 2012 philosophy could have something after all. It is said that a planet that is on a 20,000 year cycle will again pass between Jupiter and Saturn, the last time this event took place the earth was affected by major events, the main one being the ice age.

Lost civilisations, philosophers, and some religions have all indicated as we understand that the earth calendar runs out on the 21st December 2012. It is not being thought that the earth will cease to exist, but 99% of human life will be wiped out due to major catastrophic events.

The humans that remain would presumably start a new calendar at that point.

If that were true at least it leaves scope for 1% of us. Finding out how to be in the 1% could perhaps be the key to surviving such an event should it occur.

One thing is for sure, if anything like the 2012 speculation is true there is nothing any of will be able to do to prevent it, but if we are properly equipped we can at least attempt to perhaps survive it.
