Movie Review - Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time

Based on the 2003 video game the same with Jake Gyllenhaal Prince Dastan, Gemma Arterton as the princess Tamina and Ben Kingsley as Nizam. It was directed by Mike Newell and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and released by Walt Disney Pictures.

I was a bit 'unsafe Jake plays a macho character, however. You know, cause the whole Brokeback Mountain. Actually resembles the character of the video game, however, and a "nature" Persian-ish view is perhapswas a good choice? Well, as it turns out that he had done a job so bad.

Gemma Arterton as the princess Tamina heroine plays a very good and I expect bigger and better things for them in the future. She is really cute. Ben Kingsley gets a bit 'back to "A Sound of Thunder" I'm sure he is happy that still gets decent share in the movies.

This film is exactly what you think it will. If I knew nothing about who would be produced and distributed, say, Disney andBruckheimer five minutes into the movie. It 'was fun, full of action and cheesy just the right amount to make Disney a lot of them do. The general plot of the film is a mystical dagger this time contains the Sands of Time has the power to reverse. Delorean No, not 1.21 gigawatts, No 88 MPH. Doc Brown is not all that seems to need.

How Best time to travel, even if you know how some, especially after his Disney, that if one of the main characters die, they could onlyback to life by some skillful time travel. I mean, it's Disney. happy endings are mandatory. None of these bad guys get away with it at the end of these things. So you may be able to guess the ending, when it is exactly what is evil in this film, he wants them.

The villains in this case, the Hassansins. I know what you think. Is not this just murderers with a H? I actually thought it was played on Hollywood stereotypes. How Middle EastPoll names such as Hassan, the combine with a strangely proffession as murderers and get Hassansins! As Mustafa Anwar + Savage = Mustavages or warrior Anwarriors + = = + or gangster Ali huh? Ali G? Oh, I got to the last. Thats what I thought it was. Lets face it, is not the first time is it? It appears, however, that "Hashshashins" was the name of the Persian Nizari branch of Shia Ismaili Muslims in the Middle Ages and is thought, from where the word Assassinorigin. So, for my disease.

Thought it was some 'curiosity worthy of note. I want to see again and that did not happen to many films. He does his work as a great action and adventure, while pleasing most fans of the game I'm sure.

My rating film review 5.4.
