Why the news Loves Tsunami

Last weekend, I heard the endless predictions of a tsunami (earthquake Chile) my house is drowning here in Hawaii. It only reinforces what I've always said about the mainstream news: you try to scare you out of your mind so you can buy the stuff, are advertising their commercials.

Well, 'course, I appreciate the warning tsunami - who live here, on this rock in the Pacific. To stay positive, I threw a "party invites friends tsunami Maui beachour house above the flood line.

We observed the non-event, as the messages continue their "what could have happened" horror stories (from a different dimension, above the waves of Hawaii drowned under two miles).

Why could not celebrate the fact that we have avoided certain death (or at least some power outages really uncomfortable)?

Needless to say, keep the news at an arm's length. Did people would think to exterminate millions of H1N1. Then they tried to convincethe world that a passenger is indicated by a firecracker in his pants 911th others

This is just unnecessary stress. Stay informed, but do not get overwhelmed! Be prepared to not petrified by fear. The news commercials usually motivate you so calm your worries by buying things that nobody would help avoid the kind of crisis, tend to predict.

Deciding how much information is enough. Perhaps you might want to tune in just 10 minutes a day.Or 30-60 minutes once a week. A limit.

Or, conversely, have a weekly news quickly. Perhaps following the news Monday to Thursday, but avoid it right over the weekend.
