The monastery is relatively funny, and extremely low-budget B-movie that is determined to be dead wrong, but evil. It 'was released in 2000, directly on screen and has a small following. The film begins with a flashback to 1950, where a young girl shot in style, the monastery, in the best representation of the mass uh .. clergyside since, well, I always think. If anyone knows of another film that can shoot the nuns and priests different functions, Compare let me know. Those of you who have been brutally murdered by members of the clergy, however, are not might be offended, these nuns were possessed by demons, and brought a gun to the woman abortion, for reasons unknown, so it deserves way.
Following the story of a couple of unfortunate young people, including, but not limited to, demanding Goth, goth cum reform athlete, a cheerleader and a virgin desperate annoying, the movie really run the gamut of horror> Film cliché. Our hero, through a series of ridiculously bad, though entirely predictable horror film called proceedings, in the end, on the run from demonic zombie nuns above (you did not think that would be dead, right?). As you can imagine with such a subject, the film takes itself too seriously, and as such it is clear that stereotypes are mostly intentional. In fact, I found it to be for the first 20 minutes or so of fun, butquickly become annoying as the movie progresses. The would-worshipers of Satan gave me SNL "Goth Talk" Flashbacks are a legitimate part of the two funny movie. Coolio makes an amusing cameo in the second scene funny, but overall, the film strains to laugh, and most of the time, comes off as unintentionally funny at inopportune moments.
Adrienne Barbeau also makes a cameo as the older version a bit 'mad for our boysNun-killer. Horror fans will know without a doubt have made a series of John Carpenter flicks from the early '80s, including "The Fog. Unfortunately, it has little to do, and I think that giving the film to explore his character more, or at least their more screen time to do some ass-kicking could have benefited.
Jaws dropped the makeup and gore effects of low-budget, as well as (but far superior) Evil Dead can not be found, and in general, the work of special effects in this film israther sloppy. Some of the gore effects are intelligent, but the zombies look like people with a little 'make-up, put under a black light, while a type of attack. The end of the film also, perhaps, one of the worst attempts at special effects I've seen in recent memory.
All in all, this is not a movie, I'd like to see the clock over now, but it remains to be seen, especially with a group of friends for the night bad movie. After all, how many sisters spastic zombieyou get to see in movies today?
