Bonnie and Clyde Retrospective

Films like any art form meant to change the experience of the viewer. We can not jump into a time machine and go back to 1967 in Bonnie and Clyde through the eyes of those who were there at the time to see. There are ways much easier than to kill a man of culture-duster, but it never happens to us during the film, because we are so emotionally in the scene. If anyone has ever wondered what all the fuss Hitchcock, was the scene observed are, you understand everything you need to about his genius. The scene lasts six minutes, is almost devoid of dialogue andconsists mainly of passing cars on the road. What sounds silly on paper, and would be bored under the direction of many, is a thrilling and exciting scenes in cinema history.

What makes North by Northwest is not a particularly iconic scene here or there, but so many disparate elements come together in a coherent whole.
