And although Cameron may have looked like the front-runner by winning the Golden Globe with "Avatar", her ex-wife Bigelow ("The Hurt Locker") is absolutely a strong rival in awards race, who won BAFTA's Best Director Award as well as most of the other major best director gongs including Directors Guild of America award.

If Kathryn Bigelow wins in this Oscar Awards race, it will be the best revenge to James Cameron. (Although it is reported that they are good friends now, no woman can bear being betrayed and I believe she is not an exception)
