Canceling elections in 2010

Republicans have tried to use delaying tactics and obstruction in congressional committees, to effectively cancel the election results in 2006 and 2008. They made the important work of the Obama much more challenging, but the numbers worked against them. Delayed and attenuated, but not derail economic stimulus programs, health sector reform, reform of credit card, and now, this reform financial regulation week. The next mid-term elections of 2010 representedtheir best chance yet to turn back the clock.

As we move through the summer, Democrats need to press their case to the American people that the government can and should play for the people from the excesses of greed and corruption that the U.S. economy to penetrate the security landscape. Multinationals can not be allowed to pollute our environment, to excessive financial risks that the U.S. economy is in danger, nor to deny health insurance and medical care to morevulnerable among us.

The time now Democrats begin a new energy to our efforts of grass roots, the case for responsible government in the public interest to pursue. Democrats need to work the truth about an agenda imperfect but progressive laws that improve the quality of life and economic well-being of many millions of Americans. We must remember, because the Democratic voters have always been the party of the people. The message of the Republican alternative -Appeal to the basest instincts of the American people - paints a picture of a tyrannical government on the brink of destruction of our freedom. This message has with many Americans who were angry and worried about the future of our nation's response.

It 's time, in what will probably be a political battle of epic proportions, a battle that has profound consequences for our country to be involved. Now is not the time to be silent, anxious, or pressing the complacency in caseThe government is not the problem - it is really our last line of defense of both public and private organizations whose greed and corruption are much more of a threat to our American way of life.
